Blogs, Wikis, & Podcasts

Overview
Instructors are finding increased value in asking students to perform reflective writing and participate in collaborative learning. Blogs, Wikis, and Podcasts have been created as excellent tools to increase reflection and collaboration. BYU will be piloting Blog, Wiki and Podcast software throughout the Fall 2010 semester.

So as not to disrupt a large number of students a limited number of courses are involved in the pilot. Upon completion of the pilot an in-depth evaluation of both student and faculty experience will be conducted in order to determine the viability of the product and identify specific use cases which would benefit from its implementation.
