Overview
The Academic Vice President’s office provides strategic leadership, direction and coordination for all academic technology on campus including those provided by the Library, the Center for Teaching & Learning (CTL), and the Testing Center.
The Assistant to the Academic Vice President – Academic Technology serves as a technology consultant and liaison between the Academic Vice President and the Office of Information Technology (OIT). This individual, with the assistance of two Academic Technology Strategists, monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of academic technologies on campus and makes recommendations for improving existing technologies and implementing new ones as appropriate.
Academic Technology personnel work closely with the OIT Product Managers, Instructional Technologists at the Center for Teaching and Learning as well as personnel from the Library, the Bookstore and Continuing Education.
